No More Fear!

Fear is a crippling emotion.

Fear can stop us dead in our tracks and keep us from reaching God’s promises. Fear can manifest in many ways. Fear can look like canceled plans, anxiety, self-doubt, inaction, and stillness.

For me, fear looked like silence, not my introverted kind of silence. Fear was me not speaking up when I had something to say. Fear was me not speaking up when I knew I had a message for someone. Fear was me not speaking up when God told me to do something, and I didn’t.

For a while, in 2022, fear paralyzed me. For a long time, I did not know why I was so scared. Fear was not ever a problem before then. I did not accomplish many things I wanted to because I let fear hold me back.

Listen, fear can completely derail God’s plan and his intended impact.

So the question is, what did I fear? And the answer is everything from my family to my business and my future.

I did not realize until later in the year that fear was a strategy that the enemy used to stop me from trying to reach my blessings and goals. When I was not reaching my goals, I was not making God’s intended impact, and the enemy was satisfied. This is why the enemy used fear as a strategy.

Sis, the enemy does not want us to win. He does not want us to realize our greatness. The enemy wants us to remain stuck so we cannot make God’s intended impact, but most importantly, he does not want us to feel heaven.

Listen Love, it’s time to cut the fear off. It’s time to move forward. It’s time to grab hold of God‘s truth and faith. Even though I am still working on releasing my fear, here are some scriptures that are helping me and that I have been reading and praying daily.

Isaiah 41:10 AMP

‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’

Deuteronomy 3:22 AMP

Do not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who is fighting for you.’

Joshua 1:9 AMP

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Psalm 18:2 AMP

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold.

Proverbs 3:24 AMP

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

1 John 4:18 AMP

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].

Roman 8:15 AMP

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “[a]Abba! Father!”

Luke 10:19

Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on [a]serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.

Read, pray in Jesus name, and move in faith.

We are a threat to the kingdom of darkness; that’s why fear is a strategy.

I’m learning and understanding more every day that my purpose is great. Your purpose is great, which is why the enemy wants to stop us.

Do not let fear stop you.

Take time to journal and write out your fearless prayers.

You got this.

Be fearless!

No more fear.
